The School of Computing and Data Science (CDS) at The University of Hong Kong welcomed Computer Science alumni back to campus for a warm reunion gathering ahead of the launch of its inaugural AI Literacy Mini‑Course for HKU Alumni.
Held at the HKU campus, the reunion offered alumni an opportunity to reconnect, engage in small‑group conversations, and meet current and former academic staff. The event fostered meaningful cross‑cohort interaction and strengthened ties within the HKU-CDS community.
Following the gathering, participants attended the first session of the four‑week mini‑course taught by Dr. Chi Man Liu. The course provides alumni with an accessible introduction to modern AI and practical skills for applying AI tools in everyday professional tasks.
CDS thanks all alumni who joined this special evening and looks forward to continuing to build a vibrant and future‑ready alumni community.

CDS Deputy Director Prof. T. W. Lam welcomed CS alumni at the launch of the AI Literacy Mini-Course.

CS alumni and academic staff captured a memorable moment before the mini‑course began.
