Artificial Intelligence (AI) is rapidly reshaping how we live, work, and learn. To support alumni in navigating this transformation, the School of Computing and Data Science (CDS), established in 2024 and comprising the Department of Computer Science (CS), Department of Statistics & Actuarial Science and Department of AI and Data Science, has launched an Alumni Lifelong Learning program.
As the inaugural offering of this new initiative, the School of Computing and Data Science and the Department of Computer Science cordially invite Computer Science alumni to return to their academic home to join AI Literacy for HKU Alumni.
This free, in-person mini-course will be delivered over four Wednesday evenings at HKU starting in late February. The course will be taught by experienced CDS lecturers, including Dr Chi-Man Liu and Dr Alan Dougherty (Dr. Liu is also a CS alumnus). Designed specifically for CS alumni, priority will be given to earlier graduates.
